About Freedom

About Freedom

Freedom is very important to our country. Freedom means many things and is full of symbols and celebrations. Freedom means my dad can hunt with his own guns. They should not be taken away because some of them are good guns that they  protect us and all the forces. We can elect our president. Its every right to carry a gun to protect us. 4th of July means  we can shoot off fireworks. We can have a party. Our symbols of freedom mean the White House, our flag, and our school.
Freedom to me means many things.  One thing that I feel is the most important is seeing my dad hunt when he wants too.  Going to church is a freedom that we have.  We can choose if we want to go or not.  Being able to elect any president is a freedom or choice we have as United States citizens.
We celebrate the Fourth of July because of Independence Day.  We are able to shoot off fireworks.  Many families get together to party for our freedom.  We get to celebrate our freedom by going to parades with our families.
Some symbols of freedom to me are the White House, our flag, and school.  The White House is a symbol of freedom because the president lives there.  We are able to visit the White House, this is a freedom.  Our flag is a symbol because many people fought for our freedom and it shows freedom.  Our school shows freedom because of the Eagle.  The eagle represents freedom. Freedom to me means hunting, eagles, and Fourth of July and always remember our freedoms never came easy.

Ghost Story

Did you know there is a ghost at OHS?   His name is Tanner, he is a male, and he is 13 years old. Tanner has blonde, short hair.  He is kind of skinny and tall and sometimes sprays some axe on his body.  He is always happy and he likes to wear Nike shirts.  Along with his Nike shirt, he wears Nike basketball shorts. When he is in the hallway, he helps people get to their classes.   Sometimes, if there is a lockdown and somebody comes to our school, the ghost fights them.  He protects the students by fighting the people that come in to harm the school.  The people usually say, “I AM GETTING OUT OF  THIS SCHOOL, IT IS HAUNTED!”   They run away after the ghost  has saved everyone at the school.  The people thank him even though they didn’t see him. He continues to be  a part of our school.
He shows people that he is still here by pulling pranks. Sometimes they don't mind the pranks that he does but if somebody messes with him, the ghost is going to play pranks on  you until  you cry like a baby. Then, the student will go  tell Mr. Fisher but the ghost quickly goes though the walls. Mr. Fisher thinks the student is crazy and said that there was no ghost. Two years later, the ghost went to pay back Mr. Fisher  who had  said that there was no ghost.  The ghost went to his office and stared  right in Mr. Fishers eyes Mr. Fisher looked up and saw the ghost’s scary red eye. Mr. Fisher said, “Oh my god, it’s the ghost”.  Mr. Fisher sprinted out of his office and went to the student and said there was a ghost.  Mr. Fisher said, “ I saw the ghost” and the student said, “I told you there was a ghost, you should of believed me.”  Mr. Fisher said, “I am serious that there is a ghost” and the student said, “Look it’s the ghost.” They both turned around and saw the ghost’s red mean looking eyes and they said, “I AM OUT OF HERE, THIS PLACE IS HAUNTED”.  Mr.Fisher and the student rushed outside and never returned again.
The ghost left the building and said, “That’s enough pranking now,” and he never returned again.

Unforgettable School day

English 7 -Period 2

An Unforgettable School Day

“Time to get up, breakfast is on the table,” I whispered to Dad. “Ten more minutes to sleep yet.”  I had delicious eggs, toast, and hash browns. I felt nervous when I was eating my breakfast. I drank tea to wake me up.  I was tired, but I knew that it would be a day full of new adventures.
The large, brick, building was tall; the hallways were clean and the floors were shiny. There were a lot of lockers, different rooms, teachers, and the rules were different. I was getting ready for a new grade in a new school.
I was excited to be in a new building and liked getting away from the elementary. I liked that I got to have more freedom at lunch time. I don’t have to raise my hand to do something.  Having new teachers and eight class a day is easy.  I enjoy P.E. and reading the best out of my whole day.  I think that my teachers are nice.
At  the last school I didn’t  get much help from the teachers. At O’Neill I get a little more assistance from the teachers. The good thing about moving back to O’Neill is that I knew many of classmates already. It was hard for me to move to Texas because I  didn’t know many people. I was glad to come back to O’Neill.
All in all, the hardest thing was getting to my classes.  However, with teachers and students helped me I find my way.  The first day went fast and I was delighted at the end. I learned not to be afraid to ask for help at O’Neill Junior High School.

My Bedroom

Here is my room. I have a bugs in my room like spiders and mosquitoes.  A bug bit me by the arm, and I killed it when I rolled over in my sleep. I have boxes full of stuffed animals, stocking caps, and random items.  These are the boxes I did not want to open after moving into our apartment. I have clothes spread out all over my floor.  There are probably about 15 outfits, shorts, shirts, pants, and socks.  There are also three pair of shoes on my floor and some times I can barley walk in my room without tripping. My skateboard sometimes falls over and I trip over it.

I have a dresser and it has blue paint. This dresser means a lot to me because it was a dresser that my mom and my aunt shared when they were growing up.  I am lucky that she passed it on to me. I also have a lawn chair in my room, but I am getting a couch later.  My walls are filled with a golden cross that my aunt gave me and three pictures that my sister has drawn for me.  The pictures are Elmo, a dog and a little girl.  When I have a good day at school I dive onto my bed when I get home.  I am rich beyond measure.
